Maya Ward-Karet graduated from Taliesin, the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture with a Masters of Architecture.  While studying, she became entranced with FLLW’s tradition of “Nature Patterns,” the practice of analyzing natural elements to determine their underlying geometric structure in order to generate abstract patterns that reflect nature without mimicking it. Her art work reflects this tradition while growing and changing every day.

While still practicing architecture, MWK Designs provides Maya with a creative outlet that enhances her other professional work. For more information on Maya’s architectural design firm, visit
